### zhettesu's Fraction Growing Post Ins.1& 2

Yay!!! I finished Fractttttttion growing post part one and two!!! I'm so proud... (even thought some of my answers are wrong?) hahahaha.. oh well...!!!

**Part 2:**

1. Right Answer: 1 4/5. I kinda get it now. My sister helped me and I really feel so stupid. It's just a simple answer cuz there's only 1 five in 9 so there's 4 left and the denominator. So yeah, 1 4/5.

Okay... Mr. H said nothing's wrong. It's just a second verison that uses a completely different thinking...

2.

3. Multiplying Fractions --> This website shows you how to multiply fractions. This also shows the steps on how to do it. It explains some problems like how to reduce it in lowest terms, and how to do the shorcut. (You know like when you multiply high numbers.)

4.

5. Dividing Fractions --> This website shows you how to devide fractions (obviously). It also shows the steps on how to do it. It explains how to devide any numbers in a fraction or a mixed number so yeah...

6. First, I chose Katho's post from 8-17 cuz i think it's simple and really easy to understand. It shows the main point of multiplying and dividing fractions and there's not so much blah blah blah....

Second, I Tyler's post from 8-41 cuz I think his post is so colorful anf full of life... hahahaha... not only that but the explanation is so simple and just like Katho's, you can understand the details he put on it.

Third, I chose Helen's post from 8-16 cuz her post is so beautiful... :) and and and it's so colorful and there's rainbow.. hahahahahaha... okay cuz her post is very detailed and there's a lot of explanation and if ever you get confused, I think just go to helen's post then you'll know how to do your math problem... I think...

And last but not least, I chose Ingrid's post from our room, 8-73 of course cuz her post is so simple and easy to understand just like the others and it's so organized.

7. Let's pretend that these red and green circles are my M&M's. I have 2 friends to divide it with. So how much of green and red M&M's do each of us get?

Like my M&M's? It's doesn't even look like one but watever.

I answered Helen's mother's day problem... and by the way... Happy mother's day.... uhhh... nevermind.**Part 1:**

4. A) Hazel bought 3/4 of pepperoni pizza while Darlene has 2/3. If they add it all together, how many slice of pizza do they have?

B) Anne has 6 5/8 pieces of chocolate bars. She gave Zet 2 2/8 of her chocolates. In total, how much chocolate bars Anne have left?

## 7 Comments:

4)a) 3/4 + 2/3

the GCF of 4 and 3 is 12.

3/4 = 3x3=9 4x3=12

2/3 = 2x4=8 3x4=12

9/12 + 8/12 = 17/12

the answer is

17/12OR1 5/12b) 6 5/8 - 2 2/8 =

4 3/8 or 34/8By Maureen.R8-73, at 7:31 PM

oh btw, nice post! haha the letters are hard to see though, but s'all good :)

Thanks for including the first version of question 1. It is a good starting point to talk about. What were you doing wrong?? Your second version uses completly different thinking.

Great Post
